Sophie's Story...
Hi. My name is Sophie, and I am super adorable!! Look at my sweet face and my great big ears!! Sophie is 8 months old. My previous owner was not a responsible one. The other pup that I lived with was killed by a car right in front of our house!! I don't want that to happen to me!!! I have a lot of cuteness to flaunt still!! Right now I'm safe. I am being fostered in a nice home with other dogs to play with. I am potty trained, crate trained, and I walk very well on a leash. Sophie loves to play and wrestle with other doggies. She also loves to cuddle and to get belly rubs.

We are a foster based group and do not have a facility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Lafayette Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
