Charlie's Story...
Okay this is Charlie and he is what I would call the PERFECT cat! He was just recently trapped by someone and brought into the vets office and look how relaxed he is!! He has already been neutered and was not phased at all by the dogs or the other cats. So he obviously had a home at some point. He is believed to be fairly young, about 2 years old. What can I say, as soon as we took him out of the cage, he just started rolling around on his back, just totally happy, friendly and without a care in the world. I think he will go quick, so if you want the perfect cat, here he is!

PLEASE EMAIL FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION!

Before Charlie is adopted he receive all the necessary vaccinations after being tested for FeLV/FIV, checked for parasites and fleas and treated if need be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Ottawa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ottawa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ottawa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ottawa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ottawa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ottawa paves the way for another one to be saved.
