Date of Birth: estimated January 23, 2009
Female - SPAYED
Himalayan – Chocolate Pointe

Hello, my name is Bijou, and I came to Tigerlily Cat Rescue from animal control. I am a gorgeous little girl!! I love people, and love to be treated like the princess I am! I absolutely love being held (ask my foster mom to show you my favorite ways!) and I do enjoy being petted. I like to have canned food as a treat too. I do ok with other cats, though sometimes I have to make sure they know that I am royalty! I am the kind of kitty who will likely need frequent grooming to keep my coat nice and beautiful. I would love to find a forever home to call my own… could it maybe be yours?

Love, Bijou

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bijou - ADOPTED!, a Sterling Heights Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
