I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Lydia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lydia's Story...
How cute is she?!! If you can believe it - Lydia will actually be cuter soon too! Lydia was in terrible condition when we saved her from the kill list. A recent mother to puppies, skinny and very patchy hair covered this little girls body when she showed up as a stray at the pound.

She is initially timid of new things but if you watch her video you can see that once she is comfortable with you, she is a happy, spry and loving girl! She loves the companionship of people, going on walks and hanging out with her foster parents.

We are looking for a home for Lydia where she can continue to regain her confidence, enjoy life as a young active dog, go on walks and someone to love her all the days of her life! If that's you, please fill out an application for this cutie today!

Lydia weighed 12 pounds when we rescued her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lydia, a Phoenix Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
