My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orville and Wilbur
10 month-old Sphynx brothers
Adoption Fee $500 (each)

The mission of the Sphynx cat in Winter is to explore all of the possible warm places to sleep. Exhibit A: Orville and Wilbur. These 10 month-old Sphynx brothers are experts in that field and will often work together to fluff a really good spot prior to settling in for a long Winter's nap. Laps are a must, and under the blankets at night a necessity. They will discover all sleeping bags, sweaters, computers and warm pots and settle right in. Along the way they love to get lots of hands-on attention from their human, and say a quick hi to the other four legged beasts in the house, whether they be of the canine, feline or small human variety. That is when they are not eating or searching for tasty tidbits. Baths? Who has time for baths when you are an intrepid explorer? Besides, getting wet and soapy and then bundled into a towel is...well, embarrassing (and a little cozy).

Wilbur has a bit less hair than his brother, but no less personality. Orville looks like a (mostly naked) Rex, and has more hair on his feet, face, ears and tail. Both boys are front and center for all the action, and want to be members of the family. They truly get along with everyone, and are tolerant almost to a fault. They would love to be adopted together in order to continue benefiting from each other's body heat, and would do very well in a home with cat-friendly pets or gentle children. They promise to be loyal lap-sitting, bug-catching, conversation-starting friends for life. They are fostered in Davis.
