Phiona's Info...

I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Phiona's Story...
I was surrendered to the shelter because my owner could not care for me. I'm 5-6 years old and 31lbs. I'm a blue heeler and maybe mixed with a little beagle. I'm said to be good with other dogs, cats and kids! I'm a very sweet girl that has had a rough life. I've been kept outside thus far but I got to sit on a couch today and I think I could get used to it! So, if you adopt me I really hope you'll let me be a loved member of the family. I will be adopted out on a spay contract which includes a monetary deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof from your veterinarian that I have been altered, which MUST be done within 30 days of my adoption!! If you are interested in me and you can provide a loving responsible forever home please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number! If you don't plan to honor the adoption contract and have me spayed and keep me up to date on my shots, please do not inquire about adopting me.1/21

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phiona, a Ladysmith Blue Heeler/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Beagle for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Beagle dog from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Beagle breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
