Black Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Black Jack's Story...
Jack and his friend Nemo were raised together until their owner developed cat allergies. They both came to stay with me instead of going to a shelter to await their new owners. Jack is all black and is about 2 years old at most. He's very sleek and handsome, and is quite the lover. He'll head-butt you and jump up on your lap when he decides it's time for love. He is at LEAST partially Chausie, although he may be half something else. Do you have room in your heart for a sweet little lover like Jack? Jack is microchipped and comes with papers.

Breed Profile: Do you hunger for a touch of the wild in your cat? The Chausie may be the breed for you. Picture if you can, the grace, size, and exotic aura of a wild jungle cat, combined with the temperament of a domestic cat, and you have something resembling the Chausie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Black Jack, a Tualatin American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tualatin, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tualatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tualatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tualatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tualatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
