Mimosa's Story...
Mimosa, this girl is AWESOME! This is no couch potato dog. She has a ton of "get up and go". She may be high energy but she is not obnoxious and is content to keep herself busy, if you give her a frisbee she will play by herself with it, throwing it around and catching it! She is hysterical! She was rescued from a kill shelter in IN. Her scumbag owners brought her in to be euthanized claiming she had parvo. The shelter tested her and she didn't have parvo, the owners just made an excuse because they wanted her euthanized...poor Mimosa! She is such a smart girl too. She knows sit, down, and shake. We think she is a classic mutt, with probably Lab/Rott/Terrier/Dobe in her, but who knows. Just a great girl looking for that perfect home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimosa, a Peoria Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler for sale in Peoria, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Peoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
