My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5/8/10: Happy Girl continues to do well in her foster home and she understands NO and LAY DOWN. She liked having a bath and being brushed recently, and is getting used to having her nails trimmed. Her foster feels she would do well in a home with or without other dogs.

4/23/10: Happy Girl's foster mom reports that she loves everyone and nothing seems to bother her at all! She is curious about the cats in the housebold, but is getting along with them!

4/19/10: Happy Girl is just that- a happy girl! She ia very sweet and much smaller than she looks at maybe 27 pounds. She is friends with all! Happy Girl is settling into her new foster home and getting along with the dogs there, a beagle and a bloodhound. She is doing just fine being the only girl dog in the house and is holding her own! Stay tuned for more updates on Happy Girl!

March 2010~ Happy Girl is doing fantastic in foster care and really coming out of her shell. She is doing great with other dogs and is very good with the foster mom's little girl.

Jan 2010~ Happy Girl is the smaller brown dog. She and her pal Cocoa were all alone in their home after their owner died and were rescued by a kind person who can not keep them. Happy girl is a hound mix of some sort, about 35 lbs. She has short legs and looks a little like an overgrown doxie! They are both very nice dogs who deserve love and attention. The vet estimated Happy Girl to be 2-3 years old.

These two are bonded but don't have to stay together if it means getting good homes for them.

They are with a partner rescue in the south and we would love to get them north if you would agree to foster or adopt one or both.
