Hi, I'm Petunia! Boy have I been through the ringer. When I first came into rescue, I had a huge open wound all across my back. That took a few surgeries to fix and weeks to heal. Then I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease after many tests and biopsies were done to figure out why I couldn't hold my food down. Now I am on medication which is helping me tremendously and I have gained back some much needed weight. I am looking really good now! I will need my medication and once in a while I still have a bad day and reguritate. But, I am SWEET and FUN and I need someone to love me! I am a quiet girl, I love to play, I love my walks and I love belly rubs. I am good with kids, don't know about those cats though. Will you please give me a wonderful home? I have been though so much and I am so young and adorable.
Love, Petunia

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia-Adoption Pending, a San Diego English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
