Ariel was rescued off the streets. She is very sweet. She can be alittle shy at first. Gets along great with other dogs and cats. She is very tiny. She only weighs about 7 lbs. She is crate trained and probably housetrained.

The adoption fee is $250 and that includes spay/neuter, current shots, heartworm test, deworming, flea treatment, and microchip. When you adopt you also get a free 5 lb bag of food and other goodies.

The higher adoption fees on some help us to pay for all the other animals in our care. All the money we receive goes straight back to the animals so we can continue to help them!!

1) A fenced in yard is preferred but not required.

2) Please have at least 2 references verifying that you have been and will be a good pet owner. 1 preferably being from a vet.

3) Your other pets must already be fixed and current on vaccinations.

4) If this puppy doesn't work out in your home you must agree to bring it back to us and we will find it another home.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccs, deworming, heartworm test if over 6 months, and now all animals are microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ariel, a Kansas City Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
