Indy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Indy's Story...
Polite, mannerly, sensitive, affectionate-that's Indy. She's a petite girl, as she should mature to only thirtysomething pounds as an adult. Born June 2009, Indy entertains herself with doggie chews and loves romping with other dogs. She knows she should not jump on people and will come up to you and sit down waiting to be petted. Indy will hop right into the car for rides. She is crate trained and walks happily on a leash. Indy is polite to children. This friendly dog is a great fit for someone wanting a young dog with some manners who likes attention but can be ok alone while you're at work. Indy has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and takes heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indy, a Chapel Hill Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
