My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m a timid little gal of about 5 months of age (3/15/2010). My name means ‘secret’. My brother (Itzal) and I were found in a ditch at the side of a road.

I want to be a snuggling little gal, but currently I’m quite scared of new people. I tend to scamper away as people approach, so I’d do best in an adult only home. Kids will find my cuteness hard to resist and will want to come at me – and I’ll scamper away. I won’t understand kids and they won’t understand me! (I won’t hurt anyone, but I’d do best with adults that will give me time to come to them.)

I REALLY love other dogs and would love to have an older brother (not my current one – he can be a little rough with me!) – but a new older bro that will let me follow him and be his new buddy.

I'm crate-trained and leash-trained. Not really into this house-breaking thing, but my foster Mom says it's a "must" - so we are putting some extra effort into that lately. Though my foster Mom sometimes wishes I wouldn't scamper around so much 'cause I still tend to scamper from her - even though I love the petting and snuggle time.

If anyone comes "at me" I'm just not sure what their intentions are. Now, if my foster mom is on the couch - I get that, so I am right there asking to be picked up and put next to her. Just LOVE that couch-time!

I've been spayed, dewormed, am up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and am on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
