Cameron's Story...
Too cute! That's me. If you want a young, energetic and very sweet boy, I am your pup. I get along great with other dogs, even big ones, and I have fun with children too. Right now, I am learning all the proper manners like being housetrained and crate trained and will need someone not only to love me but also to continue to teach me all the lessons of being a good dog. My estimated adult weight is about 40 lbs. My edob is 11/09.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cameron, a Houston Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Houston, or seeking a Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
