Harley's Story...
Harley is about 2 years old and from what we can tell a bull dog and a hound. So far Harley is house broke, good with dogs, cats and human children. We are unsure of Harley's background since his dad tied him to a pole at a collage, left his dog food bag, a towel and a note that only said "Please find Harley a new home. Please help me my dad in going in the Navy and can't take me with him." How very sad for Harley to be left at night in the cold, for the hopes of someone to take him. A nice lady did take Harley home for the night so he would not freeze and called us in the morning to take him. So here Harley sits waiting for his new forever home this time. If you are interested in giving this cutie pie a forever loving home please fill out the application at www.resq4paws.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Ortonville Bulldog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Ortonville, or seeking a Bulldog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ortonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ortonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ortonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Bulldog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ortonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
