Smiley's Story...
Hi! My name is Smiley. I am a super sweet boy who is looking for my forever home. They think I am a Labrador retriever mixed with Chow, but I could have some other things mixed in there too, in fact my foster home even paid to have my DNA swabbed to do a breed test! We will find out in the middle of February what I really am. I will be a bigger dog so I need a backyard and room to roam. I am coming out of my shell since I have gotten to the rescue and I love when people sit on the floor with me and pet me. I like to play with my brothers and sister but can go to a home where I am the only dog too.

Come visit me at the PetSmart at 9775 W Charleston, Las Vegas, NV 89117 on February 12-14 for the Second Chance at Love adoption event. Call Second Chance Animal Rescue with any questions at (702) 577-5781. I am not quite ready yet but I am going to be fixed on the 17th and can go home after that. Please visit our website and submit an adoption application BEFORE scheduling a private time to meet our animals.

My $250 adoption fee includes: I am up-to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, and have a registered micro-chip. I will also come with my adoption folder, goody bag and a small bag of my dog food.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smiley, a Las Vegas Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
