Prince William's Story...
Hi I am Prince William!

I am a big, beautiful male cat who just wants to be your Prince Charming! Although I am shy around other cats and like a quiet environment, I adore people and love to be pet, brushed, given treats, and treated like the prince that I am! In return, I will offer you affection and devotion for years to come -- I am 5, so there will be many!

About Our Rescue Group...
GNHCP is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization whose primary purpose is to provide low-cost spay/neuter assistance to people feeding feral and/or stray cats, or to someone who has taken in a stray cat. Our foster cats available for adoption are brought in through our t/n/r (trap/neuter/return) and rescue work. We do not operate as a shelter and take in people's cats that need to be surrendered.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Pre-screening of potential adopters must be completed before adoption appointments are scheduled.

Most of the Photography of our cats is done courtesy of Fiona Johnson Photography

Our Adoption Process...
There is a pre-screening via our online "Adoption Screening Form" on our website at: www.gnhcp.org

We require a copy of the lease if renting
Veterinarian reference required

Our Adoption Policy

We require potential adopters to complete an adoption screening form and be interviewed to assure that our cats and kittens find good and permanent homes. Please contact us at (203) 782-2287. We prefer that you do this before coming to the Center for the purpose of adopting a cat or kitten.

Kittens must be eight or more weeks old before they can be adopted so they can receive their first Distemper Series vaccine and be tested for FeLV/FIV. They will also need to have a second distemper shot and rabies vaccine and be spayed or neutered.

We require an adoption fee of $100.00 to help defray the costs for vaccination and spay/neuter expenses. This adoption fee must be paid in full at the time of adoption. There is no flexibility in this arrangement. The adoption fee is the fee required per cat.

We will make the appointments for subsequent vaccinations or spay/neuter at one of the veterinarians that works with our organization. The follow up schedule will be noted in the adoption contract.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
New Haven, West Haven, East Haven, North Haven, Wallingford, Hamden, when possible Branford, North Branford, Milford and Orange
