Short Haired White with Orange Tabby

Hi there! My name is Jake and I came to Tigerlily Cat Rescue from animal control with my brother Elwood. We spent quite a bit of time at the shelter because we had a bad cold and couldn’t be adopted… We are now all ready though to find homes to call our own! We are super playful and fun little guys! We love to romp and play, and both get along with other kitties, though we have always been together and are best buds! We would love to find that forever home together that we could call our own… could it be yours?

Love, Jake

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake - ADOPTED!, a Sterling Heights Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
