Princess's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Princess's Story...
Princess is a lovely 4 yo Maremma Sheepdog, typical of her breed she can be quite stubborn when she wants to be. However, she is also very loving and affectionate with her people. Crate trained, probably easy to house train. She is slightly dominate with other dominate females but does well with all other dogs. Is curious about cats (don’t think she has ever seen one before) but not aggressive about it. Loves children, especially the small ones, this girl just wants a family of her own, preferably with children, to love and protect.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Covington Maremma Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maremma Sheepdog for sale in Covington, or seeking a Maremma Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maremma Sheepdog breeders who help with Maremma Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
