Thaddeus's Story...
Thaddeus and his brother Roan were born in foster care on June 29, 2009. They were placed in a home together, but have been returned by no fault of their own. Thad is a great dog. He is not the bravest in the group he figures if you do it first and live then he will try it. He is a cuddle bug. Thad is a very easy going laid back boy who plays well with other dogs. He is completely house broken. We would like to place the boys together since they are very bonded.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thaddeus, a Powell Boxer/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Powell, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
