My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Brooke.
I am a registered therapy dog and my obedience is perfect. I can heel, sit, down, stay, and stand on command, and of course walk beautifully on a leash. I would excel in competition obedience and love to work. I am crate trained and house broken and love to cuddle. I am only 18 months old and love people and am tolerant of dogs. However, the other dog I live with does not like me and I have been attacked twice. My family loves me, but I cannot stay here out of fear of what could happen to me. Because I have been attacked, I want to be an only dog as I can't promise I can trust another dog; but even with that, I am GREAT around other dogs on leash. I am very submissive and want a family where I can be safe, and loved. I am petite and everything you can want in a dog. If you are looking for a perfect little girl, please consider me and fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you. Brooke will only be placed into a forever home that is located within 1.5 hours of Lake & McHenry Counties in Illinois...(sorry, NO exceptions).**
