Jeremy's Story...
Jeremy was found as kitten in a garage in Fremont. His brother and sister were adopted, but he has been passed over because he is "plain" looking. I think he is very unique. His fur isn't black and white, and it isn't gray and white. It's actually white, with patches that are black and patches that are black tipped with white underneath. If you rub his fur backwards you can see that it's white underneath. Very cool looking! Jeremy needs his forever home with someone who understands he isn't "plain" and who actually cherishes his uniqueness. Jeremy likes to rub around your legs for attention and if you sit down, he'll crawl right into your lap for loving. Please consider giving Jeremy a new forever home with you. Please complete an adoption application and email it to me. There is a $50 adoption fee for this kitty. Remember, we are a non-profit organization and operate solely on donations. Your adoption fee is tax deductible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeremy, a San Jose Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
