Kilo's Story...
Kilo, Deci, and Milli were abandoned in the backyard of a local church. They were rescued and placed at one of our foster homes. The group is now about 3 1/2 to 4 months old and looking for new homes. The group was shy at first, but after staying at our Petsmart adoption center, Kilo has really come out of his shell. He loves to sit on my daughter's lap and snuggle. He is very playfull, loves the wand toys. Kilo is now neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. His adoption donation is $80, and fully refundable within 30 days if he does not work out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kilo, a Mesa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
