Milli's Story...
Kilo, Deci, and Milli were abandoned in the backyard of a local church. They were rescued and placed at one of our foster homes. The group is now about 6 months old and looking for new homes. Milli is the smallest and most outgoing. She recently moved to a foster home and has turned into a love bug. She loves to sleep next to us (if not on us) and adores the child at the foster home. She really likes to play at the Petsmart adoption center. Milli is now spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Her adoption donation is $80, and fully refundable within 30 days if she does not work out (can be extended because she is shy).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milli, a Mesa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
