Minnie's Story...
Minnie was born on approximately April 10th. She is a small black and white short hair kitten. Minnie is very playful and loving. Minnie does not like to be held in your arms, but she will be the first one up on your lap to get her love and attention each day. Minnie came from a very high kill shelter as a one week old orphan. We did not think she would make it because she was so darn small. We had a mama cat who graciously took Minnie in even though her kids were much older. Minnie thrived with her new mom and did extremely well keeping up with her older step siblings. She has a special bond with Bernie, our gray and white polydactile kitty so if you are looking for two loving, very sweet kittens, Bernie and Minnie would be a great choice. Please consider giving Minnie a second chance at having a loving home. She is a real sweetheart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Tracy Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
