My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, My name is Bear! I was snuck in to a county humane society when the staff was in a meeting. I had a note twist-tied to my collar that just gave my name and age. I was really liked by the staff - they took me out of the kennel and let me hang out in the office with them. They even wanted to keep me as the humane society mascot, but the other two mascots said two is enough.
While in the office, I was exposed to dogs and cats and I did great! One of the staff members even took me to something called an elementary school and I slept in minihuman laps. My foster mom has already had a minihuman come and visit and I loved him - he was great because he let me sit in his lap and he just kept petting me!

I am already neutered and am doing really well with housetraining. My foster mom has already given me free run of the dog room and I'm doing great about waiting to go outside - pretty impressive for a doxie!

I need to lose a bit of weight - my foster home has a couple of doxies and apparently we are all going on something called the green bean diet.

I am currently up to date on all of my vaccines and I've had my teeth cleaned. I did have a non-cancerous fatty tumor on my bum, but the vet was nice enough to take care of that for me. I'm recovering just fine and my spirits are still high :)

Bear's adoption fee is $275.
