My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey is a very sweet (loves giving kisses at every opportunity) 5 year old Basset boy. He has a very beautiful, shiny coat and his color is copper/orange and white with copper/orange freckles on his white nose and legs. He gets along very well with other dogs (we currently have two(2) other Bassets in our home). Petey is very curious and has gotten his head closed in the frig door more than once since he has been with us on January 2nd! He also loves stuffed animals! Petey loves going for walks and will often step on those long ears of his. He doesn't get onto the furniture, but likes to curl up in a little bed we bought for him. Petey is a fast learner - when he first came to us he didn't know how to use the dog door, but learned within 24 hours and he loves going outside to sun bath. He is in and out quite frequently throughout the day. Petey also likes his dry dog food with a little warm water for gravy. Give it to him dry and he won't touch it!
