Miranda's Story...
My name is Miranda, I’m 4 ½ years old a Tri-Colored Basset –Beagle mix. My foster dad says I’m a special young lady. I just made a trip from Texas with 14 of my Basset buddies to live in Arizona. We don’t know too much about my background, the Basset Shelter in Texas was closing so we were “caravanned” up here to find some our forever homes.

I am very happy and loving and get along wonderfully with my new foster brothers. I learned to use the dog door in just one day and walk very well on a leash. My foster mom says I have the softest, gentlest mouth she’s seen. I sure enjoy people but we don’t know about cats. I understand from my foster brother , that one sometimes visits our yard so we’ll see my reaction. I think I’ll like them since I’m not at all aggressive or mean. I want lots of hugs and loving and a home of my own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miranda, a Phoenix Basset Hound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
