JJ's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

JJ's Story...
JJ is a 9 year old male Jindo located in Tustin, CA. He is being rehomed because his family is moving out of the country and cannot take him along. JJ is neutered, tested heartworm negative, and up-to-date on shots. He has been raised with his owners since birth and is in perfect health. He is 65 lbs and 24 inches at the shoulder.

JJ would do best as an only dog. However, he has been raised with two cats during the first 5 years of his life and played with them daily. He might adjust to a cat home.

He does well both indoors and outdoors. He is house-trained and does not chew inappropriately. JJ is not a fence-climber or a digger.

JJ knows some basic commands such as sit and down. He tolerates baths but does not enjoy having his nails clipped.

JJ still acts very much like a puppy and loves to play with tennis balls. He pulls a bit onleash, but only because he relishes his walks so much.

JJ needs a new home by Feb 2006. His owner describes him as very easy to care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JJ, a Southern California Jindo/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jindo/Shiba Inu for sale in Southern California, or seeking a Jindo/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Southern California.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southern California already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southern California breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jindo/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Jindo/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southern California paves the way for another one to be saved.
