Bandit's Story...
These pictures show it all for Bandit! What a personality!!! She has a love for life!! Bandit was brought to the shelter by her owners. They had to move and couldn’t take her with them. It was a sad day at the shelter and not a dry eye…the little boy of the family cried as Bandit was taken back to the kennels. Bandit was loved very much by her young family…now we need to find her a place where she will be loved again. Lets find that home for that little boy! Bandit is a Bull Terrier/American Bulldog mix. She is a smaller dog. She sits on command. She has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and wormed thanks to the No Kill Mission. She will also be microchipped upon adoption. Please help find Bandit a new home, she knows this shelter isn’t it!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Shelbyville American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Shelbyville, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Shelbyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shelbyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shelbyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shelbyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
