Cara's Story...
I am Cara. I am an eight month old, female basset mix. My foster mom thinks I might be mixed with corgi, as I am a bit on the smaller side and have some corgi features. I am very sweet and I love humans of all shapes and sizes. If your looking for loyal, I am your girl! I am energetic and wont tire out easily. If you like hiking, this I would certainly enjoy. I do like to be the center of attention, so make sure there's room in your lap or next to you, in your comfy chair. I would make an excellent companion pet for most anyone. I have been working very hard at preparing for my forever home. I am up to date on my shots. I have been spayed and micro-chipped and I have figured out this doggy door, they have here. All I need now is for you to fall in love with me and take me home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cara, a Phoenix Basset Hound/Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Welsh Corgi for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Basset Hound/Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Basset Hound/Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
