Harper's Story...
Harper was brought to us at an adoption event. They said that his dad was dying and that the family couldn't take him. We were told that he is a chihuahua/peke mix, although he looks like a chihuahua with an exotic face. We were told that he was 10 months old but we don't know that for sure, so are listing him as a one year old. Harper weighs nearly 11 pounds but he's packed tight. Harper would be a great guy's dog, if you ask me. He's all man, this one. Kinda bossy and doesn't take any crap from the other dogs. Not that he's mean to them, but he won't be pushed around. And, he's all muscle. Sweet boy, though. We think that Harper should not go to a home with small children.

Harper is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive and wormed. His adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harper, a House Springs Chihuahua/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pekingese for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pekingese dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pekingese breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
