Benjamin's Story...
Hello, my name is Benjamin. I am a special needs kitty. Oreo's rescued me from a shelter that was going to euthanize me, all because I am blind. I experience serious trauma to my eyes, and my sight is gone (you can see from my pictures that my eyes have strange reflections when a camera flash goes off!). I get along fine without my sight - I have figured out where everything is in my foster home, and I am doing fine. I am very, very affectionate, and would like to find a home soon. I love to sit on my foster mom's lap and purr for hours. I know my foster mom's voice, and follow her around. I need a smaller home, and one where things don't move around much! Contact Oreo's for more information about me at oreosadoptions@yahoo.com. Call soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin, a Proctor Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Proctor, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Proctor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Proctor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Proctor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Proctor paves the way for another one to be saved.
