Oh my goodness, certainly you can see what a lovely girl Cherish is on the outside. Well, she is just as lovely on the inside and has a very sweet and gentle way about her. She is quite amazing and has come a long way from when we first saw her at a high kill shelter in South Carolina where she was emaciated and cowering in a corner. A wonderful angel helped Cherish get out of the shelter and on the road to health and happiness. We are the fortunate rescue where she came to completely heal and find a wonderful forever home. Cherish loves to be inside with her people and wants to be up on the couch with her head in your lap watching TV or cuddled up in your bed! Yes, that is her preference, but she is crate trained for times when the family has to be away. Just put a cozy dog bed in her crate and she curls up for a nice nap. She walks very nicely on leash and absolutely loves other dogs. She is playful and happy and even likes our cats. She is just a bit shy on an initial meeting, but warms up very quickly, particularly to women. She is definitely more comfortable around women, but with patience will be wonderful around the man of the house too.
Cherish is two years old and is full grown at 43 lbs. She is housebroken and has been spayed. She is up to date on her shots and is on monthly heartworm, flea and tick preventative.
