Sasha's Story...
Sasha showed up with her mom Sadie at a rescuers house looking for a nice place to stay! She is about 12 weeks old right now. Her foster mom says she is very smart - she has already housetrained herself in just a couple of weeks. She loves to cuddle up on her bed and take a nap but during play time loves to play with her foster siblings. her current foster home has a very young child (younger than 2 yrs) and Sasha is very gentle around her. She is ready for her new home! for more infomation please contact downtowndogsgrp@aol.com and they can give you an application and put you in touch with her foster mom!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a White Plains Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in White Plains, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in White Plains.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in White Plains already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a White Plains breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in White Plains paves the way for another one to be saved.
