Benny's Story...
Breed: Possibly German Shepherd Mixed Mutt Brothers
Birthday: Est. 11/28/09
Sex: Male
Size: Large (when grown)

Benny (brown) and Chandler (black and tan) were rescued from euthanasia by our colleague in Alamogordo. They recovered quickly from the stress of transfer and are healthy bouncy baby boys.

Benny is a tender-heart who seeks comfort in my arms when pack life gets extra exciting. Chandler likes to cuddle, too, but is also outgoing and independent, loves to wrestle and run with the big dogs.

Adoption Fee (each): $50 PLUS $75 Neuter Deposit that we'll give back to you upon receipt of invoice showing surgery has been done when they are old enough. We recommend age 5-6 months.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Santa Fe German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
