Roman is approximately 2-3 years old. He is a very sweet Red and Black German Shepherd. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick prevention. Roman is heartworm positive and he will need to stay on Ivermectin until he is negative. We will provide full information regarding our Heartworm treatment protocol. All of our Heartworm Positive dogs have been testing negative, free of heartworms within 6-10 month time frame depending on their current heartworm levels.
Roman was rescued out of a high kill shelter, he was dropped off in one of their drop off pens so no known history for this wonderful German Shepherd. Since Roman has arrived I think he is the most loving, sweet soul that has ever been in Rescue. He is very appreciative of a safe, loving foster home where he can finally feel comfort and joy. He is completely housebroken and will tell you if he needs to go outside. He loves to sing, talk, play and receive lots of attention. He is crate trained and prefers to sleep in his crate at night. He is fine with other dogs, cats we are unsure of, children as always a child check will need to be approved prior to adoption.
