Dakota's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dakota's Story...
Dakota is a loving and well behaved, 16-week-old Hound mix puppy who was abandoned at the city shelter because owner claimed to have "no time." Dakota is very healthy, outgoing, almost housebroken and good around other animals. She especially LOVES CATS! 18lbs now, but we estimate her adult size will be medium (about 35-45 lbs). Puppies grow. If interested in this loving little cutie, please call us, rather than email (212) 427-8273. Please have committed dog-ownership experience.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a New York Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in New York, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle puppy from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
