Lilly's Story...
Lilly and Oscar are a bonded pair of sibling terrier mixes. They belonged to someone who let them run free. Lilly and Oscar joined up with a pack of dogs roaming neighborhoods and were finally captured and have spent months in a veterinary clinic because their owners simply did not want them anymore! Vet staff describe the pair as total sweethearts. Lilly (black and white) is a little more shy than her brother (tan and white) but neither is terribly skittish or afraid. They are friendly and very, very sweet dogs! Lilly is about 11 months old and weighs 17 lbs. She has been completely vetted, is up to date on all shots, and is spayed. She and her brother are totally ready for their new home together! We would like them to be adopted together as they are very closely bonded and have never been apart. Interested adopters can please email MJsAnimalSanctuary@gmail.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Bowie Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Bowie, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Bowie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bowie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bowie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bowie paves the way for another one to be saved.
