Annie's Story...
Woof Woof I'm Little Annie and I like everyone. I am a pretty little Border Collie and I love to run and play. I don't want to herd sheep but they are fun to watch. Most of all I just want a family that loves me as much as I will love them.

Annie is a 32 pound 17" tall Medium Rough Coated Traditional Black and White Border Collie spayed female with a split face. She is a pleasant little girl and very friendly to both people and animals. She gets along and shares her food bowl, water dish and toys with others. She loves to ride in the car and the only "bad habit" which isn't bad but is totally normal for all Border Collies is that she loves to excavate "dig holes". Annie will do well in any type of family arrangement were she is loved and appreciated for the wonderful girl that she is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Minerva Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Minerva, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Minerva.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minerva already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minerva breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minerva paves the way for another one to be saved.
