Brooks's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Brooks's Story...
This beautiful guy is one of the sweetest pups with very unique markings. He is very outgoing, smart and willing to learn. He knows how to sit and constantly offers it when he wants something. Instead of jumping at you, he will sit. He is also learning to sit before exiting his crate and going out the door.

Brooks is doing great with his crate training and will happily dash into his crate when asked to "kennel up". His housebreaking is coming along pretty well also. He has never had an accident in his crate. He is not interested in chewing anything in the house except for his toys and bones.

Brooks enjoys playing with the other dogs here and has a great time running in our fenced yard. He doesn't pay very much attention to our cats.
He is good with kids and walks well on his leash - he even turns around periodically to make sure you're still with him!

Brooks is around 24 inches high at the shoulders and has a huge head and feet! He is around 9 months old and may get a little bigger. He weighs in just under 70lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooks, a New Philadelphia German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane for sale in New Philadelphia, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in New Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
