Chipmunk's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Chipmunk's Story...
My name is Chipmunk and I was born in approximately March 2005. My previous family turned me in at the shelter. Thank goodness I was rescued!

My most favorite thing in the world is to sit in your lap and to be combed. I am a bit frightened by some of the other cats in my foster home, so my foster Mom thinks that my ideal situation is one where I am an only kitty or companion to a single, gentle and easy-going (non-aggressive) cat.

The people who I lived with didn't take good care of me and therefore, I required alot of dental work. I had most of my bad teeth taken out, but now I am living pain-free and nothing slows me down. All I need is to find my perfect human-companion. Are you it?

About Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption is a 501(c)(3), all volunteer, non-profit organization. We are a small group with 3 foster homes. We pull animals from the Jersey City Shelter, Perth Amboy Shelter, Associated Humane. We also accept turn-ins and strays. We are members of the New Hope Program in New York. All our animals are tested, vet checked and spayed/neutered if age permits. We participate in the NJ State Spay/Neuter Program. Animals taken in by Whiskers and Wags stay with us until adopted. Some will remain with us. The cats are not caged in the foster homes. In one foster home, the cats live with dogs.
