Caleb's Story...
Caleb is a 5 month old neutered male kitten who was born outdoors. He's tamed up beautifully, and is a very loving & affectionate lap kitten and cuddler who loves to play. He is excellent with other cats, and would be best in a home with at least one other cat friend for him to cuddle and play with. He's very friendly with his foster buddies, and would LOVE to be adopted with his pal Hunter if possible! Caleb is not suited to a home with dogs, and although he's very sweet is also not good for a home with children because they make him very nervous and skittish.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caleb, a Hamilton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
