My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tulip is a sweet, well-mannered, quiet and friendly girl. If you're looking for a low key, low maintenance companion, Tulip is definitely your girl. She isn't pushy or demanding, but she does want to be near her people. She adores being brushed and petted, and particularly likes to stretch out on her back while having her belly rubbed.

Tulip will happily jump in your lap and stay there while you watch a movie, read a book, or work on your computer. She's not terribly active, but she does enjoy some gentle games with her toys. She is accepting of other cats, but doesn't seem to be interested in having a cat buddy. Tulip prefers the company of people.

Tulip, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Tulip, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
