Important Note

Allie is best friends with Albert. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
My name is Allie and along with my brother Albert (AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION) was born in late Novemer 2004. Although we know we are beautiful kitties, some people tend to overlook black kitties like us. If only they would give us a chance, they would realize what superstars we really are.

My foster parents say that I am a very gentle, sweet girl who gets along well with all of the other kitties in my foster home. Like my brother, I am 100% lap kitty. I like to find just the right place in your lap, so it may take a couple of circles and some gentle kneading before I am ready to settle in. Once I find the right spot, I will be content and sit in your lap for the whole evening - or until it is time to go to bed!

I may not be as flashy as some of the other kitties, but my gentle manner and loving ways are sure to make me a treasure to the family fortunate enough to adopt me. Are you the ones?

About Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption is a 501(c)(3), all volunteer, non-profit organization. We are a small group with 3 foster homes. We pull animals from the Jersey City Shelter, Perth Amboy Shelter, Associated Humane. We also accept turn-ins and strays. We are members of the New Hope Program in New York. All our animals are tested, vet checked and spayed/neutered if age permits. We participate in the NJ State Spay/Neuter Program. Animals taken in by Whiskers and Wags stay with us until adopted. Some will remain with us. The cats are not caged in the foster homes. In one foster home, the cats live with dogs.
