Important Note

Verne is best friends with Kipling. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Hi, my name is Verne, as in Jules Verne. I was rescued in 2005 from a shelter when I was only 2 weeks old along with my 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and our Mom, Ashley (AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION).

Some of my siblings have found their forever home already, which leaves just me, my brother Kipling, and Mom, Ashley, still waiting. Everyone who meets us can't believe that we ARE STILL WAITING! I guess it's cause we are so sweet and let's admit it, pretty handsome, too!

My foster Mom says that I am a sweet boy and will happily roll over to have my belly rubbed as long as you want to - just be prepared, I like to return the favor with some gentle love bites.

Since I am still frisky and love to play, my ideal home is one who would consider adopting me and my brother, Kipling together. We love each other alot, but like most siblings, we have disagreements, too!

Verne is already tested negative for FIV/FELV, up to date on shots and neutered. How about considering Verne (and Kipling) to be new additions to your family?

About Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption is a 501(c)(3), all volunteer, non-profit organization. We are a small group with 3 foster homes. We pull animals from the Jersey City Shelter, Perth Amboy Shelter, Associated Humane. We also accept turn-ins and strays. We are members of the New Hope Program in New York. All our animals are tested, vet checked and spayed/neutered if age permits. We participate in the NJ State Spay/Neuter Program. Animals taken in by Whiskers and Wags stay with us until adopted. Some will remain with us. The cats are not caged in the foster homes. In one foster home, the cats live with dogs.
