Along with my 3 brothers, 2 sisters and Mom, Asley (available for adoption), I was rescued from a shelter by a W&W volunteer. I was only 2 weeks old and that was in 2005.
When I want your attention, I like lots of petting, but sometimes, I'm feeling more independent and prefer to be left alone. At those times, you'll know not to bother me or else my jungle kitty alter-ego might come out!
I enjoy playtime and would prefer a home with a kitty companion. My brother Verne would be an ideal candidate, although like most family, we get along great most of the time and sometimes don't see eye to eye!
Kipling is already tested negative for FIV/FELV, up to date on shots and neutered. If you have room in your house and heart, inquire about Kipling and Verne - a perfect duo.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
