Amy's Story...
I was born on July 26, 2008 along with 4 sisters (Abby, Allison, Annie still available for adoption) and one brother. My two sisters and I look alike--a soft grey with a little white and orange--but my foster parents tell me that I am the cutest. I'm petite and love to sit and warm your lap. In return, I like to have my back rubbed. I also like to help my mom each morning. I run into the bedroom and jump on mom and dad's bed. I love all the attention and then I help my mom make the bed. Mom says I'm her little helper. I would love a new home where I can be a big helper and give a lot of love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a North Plainfield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Plainfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
