Hi, my name is Sugar Mama! I got my name because IÂ’m sweet as sugar and when I first came to lucky cat, I was a mama! Even though I was born outside, I've come to like most people, although IÂ’m a little cautious of them because some people where I used to live were not very nice to me. Once I get to know you and realize that youÂ’re a nice person, I DEMAND your affection on a regular basis! I am not fond of being picked up, but that is something I might learn to tolerate as I get more comfortable with you. I really just enjoy your company and will head-butt and nuzzle you while I purr all day long if you let me. Do you have room in your heart and your home for a sweet girl like me who might need just a little bit of TLC? I hope so, because I really think I deserve it!

Lucky Cat Rescue is an organization dedicated and committed to promoting pet spay and neuter. We provide information to educate individuals and communities of the importance of responsible pet ownership. This organization concentrates on spaying and neutering feral cat colonies which have caretakers and are in a safe environment. This practice reduces the risk of unwanted litters. We help in the rescue of stray and feral kittens which require socialization and need to be adopted. All cats and kittens are examined and treated by a veterinarian. Potential adopters will have access to veterinarian care.
This organization provides hope for cats and kittens that are considered "unadoptable" and would be euthanized by other shelters.

Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) feral (wild) cat colonies

The Petco in Tollgate Plaza Maryland in Harford County Maryland
We also meet and greet by appointment.

Our adoption donation is $85.00 for cats and kittens
All kitties have been spayed/neutered and are current on shots required for their age.
Once an application is completed someone will call within 48 hours.
References, personal and vet (requested on the application) are checked and personal interview are completed before the application is approved (this process usually only takes 24 hours)
A signed contract is required upon approval of the application then you take your new furry family member home
