Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is PeeWee and I was one of six kitties rescued from a garage. We were all pretty dirty - covered with grease, oil and fleas. Our rescuers had to give us many baths before we were finally called "clean". The Vet guesses that we were born around June 2002.
Since coming into foster care, all of my brothers and sisters have been adopted. That leaves just me. I'm a little bit on the shy side which makes it harder for people to get to know me. I tend to like to be left alone, and often can be found huddled under the blanket in my cat bed. Sometimes, I am so quiet that the only way my foster parent's can find me is by looking for the big lump under the covers!
Although I like the other cats in my foster home, I am not ready to become a lap kitty. Maybe someday, but for now, I prefer to be independent and to do my own thing.
If you are interested in the challenge of helping to bring a kitty out of it's shell, PeeWee might be the project for you! Otherwise, if you have a place in your heart to help a kitty in need who might be passed over by other adopters, consider PeeWee.
